**Job Description: Special Educator Specialized in Intellectual Disability and Mental Retardation**

**Location**: Lucknow
**Type**: Full-Time/Part
**Reports to**: Director

**Job Summary**: Provide individualized education to students with intellectual disabilities and mental retardation. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance student learning and development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Conduct and analyze assessments to develop IEPs.
- Monitor and document student progress.
- **Instructional Planning and Delivery**:

- Create and implement instructional strategies.
- Adapt curriculum and utilize assistive technology.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Maintain a positive, inclusive environment.
- Implement behavioral management plans.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work with parents, guardians, and professionals.
- Regularly communicate student progress to staff and administration.
- **Professional Development**:

- Engage in ongoing training and share expertise.
- Attend relevant workshops and seminars.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure adherence to special education regulations.
- Maintain accurate student records and prepare required reports.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s in Special Education or related field; Master’s preferred.
- **Certification**: Valid special education teaching certification, specialization in intellectual disability preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2 years with relevant student population.
- **Skills**: Proficiency in special education practices, strong communication and organizational skills.

- Effective problem-solving and instructional skills.
- Commitment to professional growth.

**Working Conditions**:

- **Environment**: Classroom setting, occasional field trips.
- **Physical Demands**: May require lifting and physical assistance.
- **Hours**: 8 hrs,weekdays

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
