- **Treatment and Medication Administration: They administer medications, manage IVs, and assist with various treatments as prescribed by physicians.**:

- **Equipment Management: ICU nurses are proficient in using and monitoring specialized equipment like ventilators, cardiac monitors, and other life support systems.**
- **Communication and Collaboration: They communicate with patients, their families, and the rest of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment planning.**:

- **Patient Advocacy: ICU nurses advocate for their patients' needs and wishes, ensuring they receive the best possible care.**
