Autocad Draughtsman/woman

**Job Title: Civil Draftsman (Senior Level)**

**Client**: Foreign MNC - Japanese Construction Company
**Location**: Bechraji / Vithalapur, Dist. Ahmedabad (Approx. 77 km from Ahmedabad)
**Experience**: 8 to 12 Years
**Salary**: Up to ₹10 LPA
**Education**: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Civil Engineering

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to understand and translate design concepts.
- Develop product and construction drawings from scratch, based on project specifications.
- Prepare rough sketches and design drafts for review and approval.
- Ensure all drawings meet relevant safety, quality, and structural standards.
- Create precise Solid and Surface CAD models using **AutoCAD**.
- Generate and finalize **shop drawings** and **part drawings** for fabrication and construction.
- Present multiple design options and improvements for construction adaptability.
- Coordinate effectively with the **Project Manager (Design)** for revisions and clarifications.
- Prepare and present CAD models to clients for final approval.
- Maintain documentation and complete job reports related to drawing and revisions.
- Support construction teams with **minimum architectural and building skills**.
- Understanding of **fabrication and plan drawings** is highly desirable.
- Participate in site-related activities when required and coordinate on-site drawing changes.
- **Drawing test will be a part of the selection process**.

**Technical Skills Required**:

- **AutoCAD (2D & 3D)** - Advanced proficiency required for drafting and modeling.
- **Revit** or **Civil 3D** - Knowledge of BIM tools is preferred but not mandatory.
- **MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)** - For documentation and reporting.
- **PDF Editors** (e.g., Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat) - For reviewing and annotating drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and fabrication drawings.
- Familiarity with **file management systems** and version control for CAD files.
- Basic knowledge of **construction methods**, **site measurements**, and coordination.
- Understanding of **industrial building components**, such as steel structures, RCC detailing, and infrastructure layouts.

**Required Experience**:

- 8 to 12 years in **civil drafting** and **construction drawing preparation**, especially in **industrial or infrastructure projects**.
- Experience in **site coordination**, **design interpretation**, and collaboration with project teams.
- Prior exposure to **Japanese or international construction standards** is a plus.
