**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assess clients' physical, emotional, and social needs through thorough evaluations.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve clients' ability to perform daily tasks and live independently.
- Work with individuals experiencing challenges due to injury, illness, or disabilities.
- Provide guidance and training on the use of adaptive equipment and modifications to improve independence.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic client care.
- Document and maintain accurate records of client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate clients and their families on coping strategies and support systems.
- Promote mental and emotional well-being through therapeutic activities.
- Stay updated on the latest OT research and techniques to ensure best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- **License/Certification**: Must hold a valid Occupational Therapy license.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist (preferred).
- **Skills**:

- Strong understanding of therapeutic exercises, equipment, and adaptive technology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with clients of all ages and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to create individualized treatment plans.
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to improving clients' lives.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, or neurodivergent clients.
- Knowledge of sensory integration therapy and other specialized OT techniques.
- Familiarity with creating home-based exercise or activity plans for clients.

**Work Environment**:

- This role will involve working in clinics, client homes, and other care settings.
- Ability to lift, assist, or transport clients as needed.
- May require some travel between client locations.
