As a zTPF Application developer/Support Analyst, he/she will take on a combination of the following responsibilities:

- Able to do requirements analysis, understand the business flows to translate them into Technical Requirements.
- Able to code, edit, and debug programs, unit/integration test, deploy using zTPF Assembler, Sabretalk, zTPF C/C++, TPFDF for the assigned bugs/enhancements.
- Able to troubleshoot and identify bugs in existing programs, design and release bug fixes.
- Can design and develop new programs, analyse current programs and processes.
- Collaborate with project team in understanding customer needs.
- Follow the best practices in software development and maintenance such as standards, documenting code and other practices necessary.
- Ability to work independently with customer.
- Able to deliver the assigned work with quality within agreed timeliness.

**Desired Skills and Qualifications**
- Technical: 5+ years of experience in zTPF Assembler, TPF-DF, TPF-C/C++, SPM, Sabretalk,
- Good working knowledge of IBM Tool kit tools (Trace Log, Code Coverage, Performance Analyzer), CVS.
- Good functional knowledge of Airline Passenger Service Systems (PSS) or Flight operations system(FOS).
- Functional: Exposure to Airlines domain of either Check-in, Reservations, Ticketing or CREW is highly preferred.
- Should take ownership of the assigned assignments/tasks.
- Ability to deliver under tough project timelines when in need.
- Able to understand Software Development Life Cycle.
- Possess strong logical/analytical skills to address job related problems.
- Quality Mindset, Self-motivated, Team Player and result oriented.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to simultaneously interface with other teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Work with a team to provide written responses to technical proposals and /or reports/documentation for delivery.
- Experience in identifying and delivering technical solutions to customer business problems.
- Excellent English both verbal and written communication skills and capable of independently communicating with customers.
- Should be flexible to work in shifts (24/7)
- Exposure to IT Service Management
- Good to have an experience working in Agile or Waterfall software development process
