Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Clinical SAS Programmer to join our team. The Clinical SAS Programmer will be responsible for developing, validating, and maintaining SAS programs for analyzing clinical trial data. The role involves working closely with biostatisticians, clinical researchers, and data management teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of statistical reports and data sets.

Key Responsibilities

SAS Programming:
Develop and execute SAS programs for statistical analysis, data manipulation, and reporting in support of clinical trials.

Create datasets, tables, listings, and figures (TLFs) according to statistical analysis plans (SAPs) and study protocols.

Data Management:
Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and quality of clinical trial data through thorough validation and testing of SAS programs.

Collaborate with data management teams to understand data structure and resolve data issues.

Statistical Analysis:
Implement statistical methods and models in SAS as outlined in the SAP.

Generate and review statistical outputs, ensuring they meet the specifications and are correctly interpreted.

Documentation and Reporting:
Document programming processes, methodologies, and results in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for SAS programs, including specifications, validation results, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Collaboration:
Work closely with biostatisticians and clinical researchers to ensure that programming outputs meet the study’s objectives and regulatory requirements.

Participate in study team meetings and contribute to the development of analysis strategies and problem-solving discussions.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines such as FDA, EMA, and ICH GCP standards.

Conduct peer reviews of programming work to ensure accuracy and consistency.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., SAS Certified Base Programmer) are a plus.

**Experience**:
Proven experience in SAS programming within a clinical research setting is preferred but not required for entry-level roles.

Familiarity with clinical trial data, CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM), and statistical analysis methods is an advantage.

**Skills**:Proficiency in SAS programming and experience with SAS Base, SAS/STAT, SAS/MACROS, and SAS SQL.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex statistical results.

Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.

Other Requirements:
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: ₹15,256.05 - ₹70,777.60 per month
