As an SAP SD Architect, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module within the organization. You will work closely with business users to understand their requirements, configure the SAP system, and ensure that the sales and distribution processes are efficiently managed and optimized. Have good understanding on other SAP modules such as MM and FI, Prior working on HP projects will be added advantage.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Solution Design**: Develop comprehensive SAP architecture strategies and designs that meet business requirements. Create high-level and detailed design documents, including integration points and data flows
- ** System Configuration**: Configure the SAP SD module according to business requirements. This includes setting up master data, pricing, sales order processing, delivery, and billing processes.
- ** Project Leadership**: Lead SAP implementation projects from an architectural perspective. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and developers to ensure successful delivery of SAP solutions
- ** Implementation and Support**: Lead or support the implementation of SAP SD solutions. Provide post-implementation support and resolve issues related to sales and distribution processes.
- ** Integration**: Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), and FI (Financial Accounting).
- ** Testing**: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the SAP SD configuration meets business requirements. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- ** Documentation**: Create and maintain detailed documentation for configuration settings, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
- ** Training**: Train end-users and create training materials to facilitate effective use of SAP SD functionalities.
- ** EDI & IDOC** should have in-depth knowledge on the Interfaces like EDI and IDOC, Should have strong experience in handling multiple projects like Implementation, Application maintenance support, Presales, Rollout and testing projects
- ** Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimizations in the sales and distribution area. Implement best practices and recommend system enhancements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience with SAP SD module, including configuration, implementation, and support.
- Strong understanding of sales and distribution processes, including order management, pricing, and billing.
- Experience with SAP integration with other modules (MM, PP, FI) is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Certifications**:

- SAP SD certification is highly desirable.

**Experience**:

- 10 + years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant or in a similar role.
