Electrician

**Role Overview**:
Key Responsibilities

Installation and Maintenance
- Carry out conduit and cable laying inside vessels.
- Support installation and connection of electrical systems in vessels.
- Perform termination work under supervision.
- Assist in routine and preventive maintenance operations on board vessels.
- Maintain and repair electrical tools, equipment, and switchboards.

Interpretation and Learning
- Read and interpret basic electrical drawings with limited guidance.
- Assist in troubleshooting and identifying electrical issues.
- Implement instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.

Safety and Compliance
- Follow all safety protocols while working with electrical systems.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure safe work practices.
- Report hazards and unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.

Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with senior electricians and supervisors.
- Prepare work areas, organize tools/materials, and support team operations.
- Maintain work records and update supervisors on task completion.

**Requirements**:

- ITI or Diploma in Electrical (mandatory).
- Around 2 years of relevant experience in electrical works (shipbuilding/construction preferred).
- Strong understanding of electrical tools, wiring, and basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Willingness to work in a shipbuilding and construction environment.

Salary Range: ₹18,000 to ₹20,000 per month
