**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Essential Qualifications**:
Must have a Bachelors/Master’s degree in a field of Life Science

MBA would be preferred.

Minimum 2-3 year’s prior purchase experience in Herbal/Nutraceutical/Cosmeceutical/Pharma company

Prior hands on experience with SAP - MM module, Advance Excel & power point is mandatory.

Experience performing in a fast paced, goal oriented and time sensitive environment.

Good communication skills and well versed in written and spoken English.

**Responsibilities**:
Would be responsible for the purchase of Raw materials, Finished Goods, Intermediates etc as required based on the monthly plan and organizing pre shipment samples from vendors.

Would be responsible for forwarding all samples to QC, maintaining data & followup with QC for results.

Co-ordinate with vendors and organize all documents required for vendor registration

Vendor

Regular tracking in SAP for PRN’s raised and converting them to PO’s after required documentation.

Would be responsible for PO preparation & forward the same to vendors

Followup with vendors and transporters for timely delivery of all raw materials required for production.

Followup with finance department on payment reconciliation for each vendor with appropriate documents & ensure scheduled payment to vendors.

Co-ordinate with stores & organize dispatch of any rejected material back to the vendor

Regular preparation of trackers & monthly report preparation

Assist the VP - Supply Chain on a regular basis

Travel as and when required

Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the VP - Supply Chain

Reporting to VP - Supply Chain

**Salary: - 25 to 30K Gross.**
