You are responsible for handling managing & engineering the Proxy / Cisco Umbrella infrastructure.
- 5+ years’ senior experience configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting Cisco WSA hardware and associated operating system.
- 1+ year of Cisco Umbrella Administration
- 3+ years of experience IP network security, including network systems design and implementation, UNIX system analysis, authentication methods.
- Experience with Cisco firewalls, Viavi Observer and Wireshark packet analysis.
- Has achieved industry standard certifications, e.g.: Security+, CCNP, or CCNA
- Knowledgeable in network security procedures, best practices, and implementation
- Ability to script (Bash/Awk/Python/Perl/Expect) to achieve data processing/device administration/network testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize and manage a variable workload within an environment with conflicting demands.

**Desired Experience**
- Palo Alto Prisma Access
- Cisco Umbrella SIG
- Grafana Knowledge. Develop and support the user-friendly graphical presentation of SNMP data from the proxies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operation and Maintenance of current on-premises proxies Cisco WSA. Lead or participate in potential Cloud Proxy migration effort.
- Provides tier 2 support and assist with project implementation within the Network environment.
- Successful provisioning as well as supervision of, in installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of the systems hardware, software and related to the proxy infrastructure.
- Installation and maintenance of network hardware and software, analyze problems, and monitor networks to ensure their availability to users.
- Works closely with network operations, systems and other groups on business projects, assignments, problems, etc.
- Provide root cause analysis. Assist Incident Management (Return-to-Service) and/or Problem Management (Reason for Outage) by joining incident bridges, and providing root cause analysis, as needed.
- Engineer and deploy updates to support changes in the PAC file (Javascript).
- Interact with Cyber Security team supporting incident response activities for moderately complex events.
- Experience in evaluating vendor products and making recommendations to purchase hardware and software.
- Interface with acquisition teams to support acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed.
- Works independently on specific projects or may act as lead or Project Manager or a technical consultant where experience and knowledge span multiple projects.
- Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired outputs, whether solutions or products, which may include baseline performance (SLA's, etc.), Incident management and Problem Management
- Ensures proper documentation for the corporate knowledgebase, including design, procedural and lessons learned. This also includes maintaining and updating existing documentation.
- Contributes to technical artifacts through team/program SharePoint and/or communities of practice.
