Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
- Handle cash, credit or check transactions with customers
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
- Make sure scan, billing & swiping machine is working properly.
- Ensure pricing is correct
- Issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets
- Guide the customers about the availing offers if any.
- Redeem stamps and coupons
- Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new ones
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Bag items carefully
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
- Process returns and check to see if items are damaged
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
- Provide customer feedback/ complain to the store manager.
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services.
- If your area is not cleaned, inform the housekeeping & get it done ASAP.
- Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
- Make sure your cash counter; opening & closing balance is matching.
- Make sure billing date is as per the current date.
- Make sure cash counter is tallying with the shift close report.
- At the end hand over the cash to the senior cashier / Head Cashier.
- **Make sure expire items are not kept in display.**:

- Perform other duties as and when assign by your Manager.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: From ₹10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mankavu,Panniyankara,Mathottam,Nadakkavu, Calicut, Kerala: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)

**Education**:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- total work: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
- Hindi (preferred)
