The Opportunity
ACV/Monk provides visual expertise through Computer Vision and Deep Learning algorithms. Today, the AI is able to detect and classify damage on any vehicle, with photos taken by a smartphone. The company is already working with international leading players, such as our parent company ACV Auctions (USA), but also CAT logistics (Europe) Getaround (France), Autobiz (Europe) or Hgreg (Canada).
We are building a word-class API-based damage detection system. We are looking for a great engineer with a data-centric approach to help us build a high performance Data Engineering infrastructure to support the efforts of our ML team. Missions
- As a R&D Data Scientist your missions will be:

- Research and implement new models/algorithms (including image background removal)
- Work with the backend and data-engineering team to help integration of the models in production
- Provide feedback and direction on how the data should be gathered, labelled and cleaned
- Keep up to speed with the SOTA in computer vision

Tech stack
- Databases: SQL, Postgresql, Sqlalchemy, noSQL, ETL.
- ML: Python, Pytorch, ClearML
- Infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes, CircleCI
- Backend: Python, Flask, Rabbitmq, OpenAPI
- Interface: JS, React Native, React, TP

**Skills**:

- Advanced knowledge on mathematics, statistic and/or machine learning
- Proficient experience in python
- Knowledge in deep computer vision
- Team player
- Ability to summarize and present information

Background
- Bachelor or Master degree in an engineering school.
- 3+ years experience
- You have already worked on machine learning projects / Computer Vision (+++)
- You are interested in the startup environment, and you are autonomous and proactive
- Experience with agile methodology #LI-CM2
