**Job Title: Physics Teacher**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Teach physics concepts including mechanics, electricity, magnetism, thermodynamics, and modern physics.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to accommodate different learning styles.
- Prepare students for standardized assessments and/or AP/IB Physics exams (if applicable).
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement.
- Assess and evaluate student performance regularly through assignments, labs, projects, and exams.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with other science faculty and school staff to support interdisciplinary learning.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.

**Qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Science Education, or related field.
- State teaching certification in Physics (Grades 9-12) or eligibility to obtain certification.

**Preferred**:

- Master’s degree in Physics or Education.
- Experience teaching high school Physics, including AP or IB courses.
- Familiarity with NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) or other relevant standards.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
