**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with the director to determine the visual style and approach for projects
- Plan and execute lighting, camera angles, and shot compositions to achieve desired effects
- Manage camera equipment and other technical gear during shoots
- Oversee the cinematography team, including camera operators and assistants
- Conduct tests and experiments with different filming techniques and technologies
- Ensure proper maintenance and operation of all camera and lighting equipment
- Review footage and make adjustments to enhance visual quality
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in cinematography
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Cinematography, or a related field
- Proficiency in camera operation and familiarity with various types of camera equipment (DSLRs, cinema cameras, drones, etc.)
- Strong understanding of lighting techniques and color theory
- Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Knowledge of cinematography principles, including framing, composition, and camera movement
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with directors and crew
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Portfolio showcasing previous work and a strong understanding of visual storytelling
