Installation and upgrades of databases using IaC (Terraform) MongoDB, PostgreSQL DB, AWS RDS, Azure SQL, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, and other cloud database options in cloud provider platforms like AWS, Azure and Atlas.
- Additionally, install and upgrade databases within container platforms (e.g., Partwork, Rancher, AKS, ECS)
- Replication HA setup for databases mentioned in 1st bullet
- DR setup and configuration
- Configure sharing where appropriate for databases mentioned in 1st bullet
- Database upgrades, patches, versions
- Utilization of Ops Manager to enable monitoring
- Execute and maintain standard database backups and data exports as per requirements
- Standard Data recovery as per requirements
- # DEV # QA # PROD)
- Enable profiler and fine-tune database queries for improved performance
- Moni tor alerts, long running queries, and trouble shoot performance issues
- Monitor and resolve backup failures, CPU, memory, and disk usage of database platforms
- Data recovery and restore to be done as per Abbott backup policy.
