Car Mechanic

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks
- Conduct equipment repairs and perform welding as necessary
- Assemble components and systems according to specifications
- Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment during repairs
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and required services

**Requirements**:

- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair
- Familiarity with schematics and the ability to read technical documents
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively interact with clients
- Previous experience in maintenance or equipment repair is advantageous
