**Curious about the role? What your typical day would look like?**:

- As a Data Architect, you will have the opportunity to design and implement incorporating best practices of simplicity, flexibility, modularity, reusability, restorability, and traceability and providing technical advisory on data integration related challenges to clients and internal teams. A strong background in Matillion and familiarity with agile methodologies are essential. More specifically, this will involve:

- Handles requirement gathering scenarios involving multiple departments/clients and complex data ecosystems. Contributes effectively in technology roadmap workshops.
- Independently designs the end-to-end technical solution and architecture for data platforms of any complexity. Analyses and guides design produced by the team.
- Drives the Design Review sessions with the client and contributes meaningfully to discussions involving comparison of different design patterns, technology components, etc.
- Expertise in multiple paradigms (BigData/MPP/DWH. OnPrem/Cloud/Hybrid) across all types of data.
- Expertise in developing data models for multiple business domains and various functional areas within the module. Implements best practices and standards in dimensional design. Advice client architects on data modeling
- Designs and implements advanced data governance components for projects of any scale and complexity (e.g. rapidly changing data environments) Guides the team in building robust data governance process starting from requirement gathering till data provisioning
- Engineers and implements batch and stream design patterns using Cloud services. Guides teams on all aspects of cloud platforms. Working knowledge in multiple clouds. Independently leads data pipeline building and platform migration.
- In addition to common QC checks, conducts high level custom checks and triangulations to ensure error free outputs/solutions
- Work is very clearly organized making it extremely easy for anyone to follow and understand. Code is modular and appropriately commented
- Brings in the industry/vertical context from their experience, in addition to the client business context.
- Can handle all business communication, report preparation, proposals etc. considering the target audience
- Able to handle communication with client stakeholders independently and lead a team to execute the project.

**Job Requirement**

**What do we expect?**:

- 10+ years of experience in data warehousing, with a minimum of 1 year building full-scale data warehouse solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing data integration solutions using multiple ETL tools.
- Proven experience in Matillion with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
- Expertise in performing PoCs and proposing multiple design options for various use cases.
- Hands-on experience with Matillion connectors for Applications, Databases, Files etc
- Advanced SQL knowledge: Expertise in complex query writing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and working with analytical functions and stored procedures.
- Experience with API connectors in Matillion and knowledge of implementing custom connectors.
- Proficiency in working with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery) and cloud storage solutions, using both CLI and GUI interfaces for data modeling and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and physical database design and tuning.
- Experience in data migration projects and using Matillion frameworks or other ETL reusable frameworks is a plus.
