**Job Purpose**:
The CMA Article Trainee will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, performing cost analysis, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting senior accountants in audits and financial reporting. This role is designed to provide practical exposure to accounting practices in alignment with the requirements of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) CMA course.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Accounting**:

- Assist in preparing cost sheets, analyzing costs, and developing cost standards.
- Help in budgeting and variance analysis.
- Support in maintaining cost records for different projects/products.
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Participate in the reconciliation of financial data and ledger accounts.
- Prepare and assist in internal and external financial reports.
- **Audits**:

- Assist in internal audits by verifying documents, compiling reports, and working with audit teams.
- Help in cost audits and statutory audits as required.
- **Taxation**:

- Assist with direct and indirect tax filings (GST, TDS, etc.).
- Ensure timely filing of returns and compliance with tax laws.
- Support in tax planning and advisory tasks under senior supervision.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements, such as cost audit rules and tax regulations.
- Keep updated with amendments to accounting and tax regulations.
- **Data Analysis**:

- Conduct financial analysis and cost studies to support decision-making.
- Assist in cost-benefit analysis for specific projects.

**Skills & Competencies Required**:

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
- Familiarity with costing concepts like marginal costing, absorption costing, and standard costing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for report writing and presenting findings.
- Ability to work in a team and under tight deadlines.

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- Enrollment in the CMA Articleship program under ICMAI.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software and MS Office.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship
Contract length: 15 months

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹7,500.00 per month
