**Job Title: Contracts Administrator**

**Location: Mumbai**

**Shift Schedule: 1:00PM - 10:00PM IST (Mix of Hybrid + Remote, Travel to office once a week)**

**Overview**:
Reporting to the European General Counsel, with day to day oversight from the APAC Contracts Manager, the Contracts Administrator will be a member of the global, L.E.K. in-house legal team, supporting the firm’s European region. The Contracts Administrator carries out responsibilities within Legal’s contracts administration function, including, but not limited to: providing contract administration support, by drafting, editing, and finalizing a heavy volume of agreements and contracts, such as template-based access agreements, as well as other agreements, as needed, for the firm’s internal and external clients, across L.E.K.’s industry sectors and service-lines, as well as managing the tracking of internal data, and assisting with inputting information and data into our internal database systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Administer the drafting, review, editing, and finalization of third-party access agreements.
- Assist other contracts administrators on the team with various contracts workflows, as needed.
- Ensure quality control in connection with standard legal terms and conditions.
- Manage the escalation of legal changes and negotiations to global contracts managers and regional counsel, as needed.
- Input contracts and possible conflicts data into internal databases.
- Coordinate with Legal Operations on data metrics in connection with contracts dynamics and lifecycles.
- Assist others on the global legal team with other contracts-related needs, as necessary.

**Requirements**:

- A Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree, with an accomplished academic record from a top, accredited university. A Master of Laws (LL.M.) preferred, but not required.
- 1-3 years of professional experience, preferably in a professional services firm, or similar environment. Preferred experience working with contracts, or legal documents.
- A detailed-oriented person, who exercises excellent judgement and professionalism in order to partner with our clients to reach mutually agreed-upon solutions.
- Schedule flexibility and comfort with working on global timelines.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, appropriately escalating issues when needed.
- The ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment, with a good sense of emotional intelligence to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task, incorporating outstanding organizational skills and flexibility, to prioritize work and deliver the maximum business value.
- Comfort with legal technology solutions, including contracts management databases.
- Technical: When working remote (L.E.K. has a hybrid working model), the incumbent must have WiFi and network bandwidth of at least 150 MBPS in order for L.E.K.’s VPN network to work correctly.
