We are looking to hire an Examiner to join the team based in Mumbai, India.
Job Requirements
Contributes to development of claims policies and procedures. Involves legal resources as necessary.
Responsible for the monitoring and settlement of recoveries and recovery costs and for advising/directing customers in respect of loss minimisation activities.
Applies principles and procedures within restricted examination criteria to determine liability for credit-insured losses and bonds
Responsible for compliance with internal procedures/systems
Responsible for accurate assessment of indemnity
Communicates with customers/brokers/buyers/agents/internal colleagues
Knowledge, Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree plus professional insurance qualifications and 2-3 years relevant experience.
Demonstrates competence in own area; may still be acquiring higher level skill
Typically works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge
Operates at core professional qualification
May have some supervisory responsibility
Proficient in English
