**Position Description**: The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure IT solutions to support RIMES’ disaster risk management and early warning systems. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural principles, design patterns, and integration techniques, along with the ability to analyze complex technical requirements and develop innovative solutions. The Solution Architect will be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial analysis and design through to implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
**Contract Type**:Full-Time Contract
**Duty station**:TNSDMA office at Chennai, Tamil Nada, India
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Minimum Qualifications:_
- **Knowledge**_
- Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Communication and Technology, or related fields.
- **Experience**_
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, system design, or architecture roles.
- **Skills and abilities **_
- Strong technical skills in programming languages, databases, cloud computing, and relevant technologies.
- Proficiency in architectural principles, design patterns, and integration techniques.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or TOGAF (optional but beneficial).

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**:
Solution architect will report to Anshul Agarwal, Project director, with supervision of the Project coordinator, and in coordination with others in the Team, and shall have the following specific tasks:
- Conducting thorough analysis of requirements of the State government, technical requirements, and existing system.
- Designing and documenting the overall system architecture, including component interactions, data flows, and integration points.
- Evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools to meet project goals.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, such as business analysts, developers, and project managers, to gather input and ensure alignment.
- Providing technical guidance and oversight throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensuring scalability, performance, and security of the system architecture.
- Identifying risks, issues, and potential bottlenecks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Reviewing and approving design artefacts, code, and other technical deliverables.
- Participating in project meetings, workshops, and presentations as required
