**Responsibilities**:

- Video editing: Edit and assemble raw footage into a cohesive and engaging video, ensuring a smooth and seamless flow between scenes.
- Storytelling: Understand the narrative or message of the video and use creative editing techniques to effectively communicate the desired story or information.
- Audio editing: Edit and synchronise audio tracks, including dialogue, background music, sound effects, and voice-overs to ensure proper audio balance and clarity.
- Transitions and effects: Utilise various transitions, effects, and animations to enhance the visual appeal and create a polished and professional video.
- Collaboration: Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand their vision and provide creative input during the editing process.
- Organisation and file management: Organise and manage project files and maintain an organised library of digital assets.
- Technical proficiency: Stay updated with the latest video editing software and tools, and possess a strong understanding of video formats, compression, and delivery requirements for different platforms.
- Feedback and revisions: Incorporate feedback from team members and make necessary revisions to meet project requirements and client expectations.
- Deadlines and time management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks effectively, and deliver high-quality work within designated timeframes.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro,Wondershare, Filmora, CapCut.
- Strong understanding of video editing techniques, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
- Knowledge of audio editing and synchronisation techniques.
- Familiarity with visual effects, transitions, and colour grading.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with team members.
- A portfolio of past video editing projects or samples demonstrating your skills and style

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ahmedabad: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Video Production: 0-1 year (preferred)
- Video editing: 0-1 year (required)
