
Billing Assistant

The Billing Assistant plays a key role in supporting the billing process by handling weighbridge entries, preparing billing documents, and assisting with tax-related invoices. This role ensures the accurate calculation of GST, E-way Bills, and invoicing in accordance with company policies and government regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Weighbridge Entry**: Record and update all weighbridge data for incoming and outgoing shipments accurately.
- **Billing Documents**: Prepare and organize billing documents, including invoices, delivery notes, and packing slips.
- **Assist with Billing Process**: Support the billing team by verifying order details, updating systems, and ensuring timely invoice generation.
- **Tax Invoices**: Prepare and verify tax invoices in compliance with GST regulations.
- **E-Way Bill & E-Invoice**: Generate E-way bills and E-invoices as per legal requirements for goods transportation.
- **GST Calculation**: Accurately calculate applicable GST rates on products and services.
- **MS Office**: Maintain records, prepare reports, and assist with various tasks using MS Excel, Word, and other office tools.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 1 year in billing, finance, or related roles in manufacturing or logistics.
- **Skills**: Knowledge of GST, tax invoicing, E-way Bills, E-invoices, and MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, etc.).
**Key Competencies**:
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with finance and logistics teams.
- Basic understanding of tax regulations and billing procedures.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
