Key responsibilities of a medical typist:

- **Listening to dictation**:Accurately listening to audio recordings of physicians' dictations, including patient histories, physical examinations, discharge summaries, and other medical reports.
- **Interpreting medical terminology**:Understanding and translating complex medical jargon, abbreviations, and acronyms into their correct written form.
- **Transcription**:Typing out the dictated information into a standardized format, ensuring proper grammar and punctuation.
- **Editing and proofreading**:Reviewing transcribed documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying and correcting errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.
- **Quality control**:Following established guidelines to maintain high quality standards in transcriptions, including verifying patient details and checking for accuracy against medical records.
- **Speech recognition software review**:Reviewing and editing text generated by speech recognition software to ensure accuracy.
- **Electronic health records (EHR) entry**:Entering completed medical reports into electronic health record systems.
- **Confidentiality**:Maintaining patient privacy by adhering to HIPAA regulations and handling sensitive medical information with care.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,715.87 per month
