**Responsibilities**
- Supervise machine shop operations during assigned shifts
- VMC Machine parts Setting knowledge
- Ensure all machinery and equipment are functioning optimally
- Monitor production targets and ensure timely completion
- Implement & maintain 5s & safety protocols and ensure compliance
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs
- Train and mentor shop floor personnel
- Prepare shift reports and communicate with their HOD.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes
- Setup and troubleshoot VMC machines
- Maintain Tool & material inventory and coordinate with maintenance team.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a machine shop environment as VMC Setter

**Skills**
- Good knowledge of VMC and Machining Process.
- Good knowledge of GD&T.
- Positive can-do attitude to problem solving, developing systems, and improving business performance;
- Ability to promote team working culture and demonstrate team ethics;
- Overall management of the machine shop during the shift.
- Technical Expertise in Machining
- Safety Regulations Compliance
- Preventive Maintenance
- Process Improvement
- Strong understanding of machining processes and equipment

**Required Experience and Qualifications**

10 th & 12 th, ITI, DME, BE (MECH), CNC Institute
