Responsibility
- Install and configure database servers
- Develop database utilities and automated reporting
- Create shell scripts for task automation
- Analyze and tune database for optimal efficiency
- Restore and recover corrupted databases
- Install and test upgrades and patches
- Provide 24/7 support for critical situations
- Evaluate and recommend new database technologies
- Evaluate and provide implementation guidelines for database replication and redundancy

**Skills & Experience requirements**:

- MySQL and Oracle Database Administration
- Installation, Performance Optimization, Backup & Recovery of Databases
- Working knowledge of PL/SQL
- Working knowledge of Unix (Solaris preferred)
- Proficient with Golden Gate
- Proficient with data modeling
- Data Guard and DB Visit skills in desirable
- Problem solving

**Salary**: ₹1,530,682.47 - ₹2,000,327.76 per year
