We are seeking an experienced Leather Good’s Merchandiser to join our team and contribute to our sales efforts by providing excellent point-of-purchase and shelf management services. As a Merchandiser, you will play a vital role in planning and developing merchandising strategies that align with customer expectations and our company's objectives.

**Responsibilities:

1. Plan and develop merchandising strategies that effectively balance customers' expectations and company goals.

2. Analyse cost sheets, sales figures, customer reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan appropriate product ranges and stock quantities.

3. Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities, and time-scales, ensuring timely product delivery.

4. Maximize customer interest and sales levels by strategically displaying products to attract attention and promote purchases.

5. Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory to ensure optimal product presentation and availability.

6. Forecast profits and sales, and effectively plan budgets to maximize profitability.

7. Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, and clear-outs to optimize inventory turnover.

8. Build and maintain positive customer relationships, collaborating with channel partners to develop a strong sales pipeline and close deals.

9. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and merchandising trends to continually improve our strategies and processes.

**Requirements and Skills: -**

1. Proven working experience in merchandising, preferably in the leather industry.

2. Highly creative with a track record of identifying target audiences and devising engaging and motivating campaigns.

3. Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends, techniques, and best practices.

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and information.

5. Strong listening, presentation, and decision-making skills.

6. Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to understand and analyse customer behaviour and preferences.

7. Bachelor's degree in Leather Tech or design institute.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
