Key Responsibilities:

- **Teaching**: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons to senior secondary students (Grades 11 and 12) in alignment with the curriculum guidelines and school policies.
- **Curriculum Development**: Develop and implement innovative lesson plans, instructional materials, and laboratory experiments that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- **Student Assessment**: Design and administer assessments, evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- **Laboratory Management**: Oversee the use and maintenance of the chemistry laboratory, ensuring safety standards are met and students are instructed in proper lab procedures.
- **Classroom Management**: Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and discipline.
- **Professional Development**: Participate in professional development programs, workshops, and conferences to stay current with the latest advancements in Chemistry education and teaching methodologies.
- **Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the school administration to support student learning and address any academic or behavioral issues.
- **Extracurricular Activities**: Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, science clubs, and competitions that enhance the Chemistry curriculum.
- **Communication**: Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, school events, and any issues that may arise.
- **Adherence to Policies**: Follow all school policies, procedures, and guidelines, including those related to student discipline, health and safety, and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

- **Education**: Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree is preferred.
- **Certification**: Valid teaching certification or licensure as required by the state or governing educational authority.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience in Chemistry at the senior secondary level.
- **Skills**: Strong knowledge of Chemistry concepts, excellent laboratory management skills, and proficiency in using various teaching methods and technologies to enhance learning.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Tiruchchirappalli, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
