**Academic Coordinator (IGCSE Syllabus)**

**Location**: Shollinganallur, Chennai

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and oversee the implementation of the IGCSE curriculum to ensure alignment with Cambridge standards and school goals.
- Supervise and support teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and instructional strategies to promote academic excellence.
- Monitor the progress and performance of students, providing guidance and intervention strategies when necessary.
- Organize and lead teacher training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs to enhance instructional effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Principal and department heads to design and implement academic policies and initiatives.
- Plan and coordinate internal and external assessments, ensuring adherence to Cambridge examination guidelines.
- Review and update academic materials, resources, and teaching methodologies to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Foster open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and academic concerns.
- Manage timetables, teacher schedules, and resource allocation to optimize academic operations.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and updates in the Cambridge curriculum to maintain the school’s competitive edge.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or relevant disciplines; a teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE) is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience as an Academic Coordinator or similar role in an IGCSE or international school environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus, curriculum design, and assessment practices.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills to manage academic operations effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
- Ability to analyze student performance data and implement actionable improvements.
- Proficiency in using technology for academic management and virtual learning platforms.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
