ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Job Responsibilities: - Responsible to define the product/solution architecture and describe how Azure cloud platform supports data engineering, data pulling etc. - Expertise in best practices, solution designing & architecting the various cloud data solutions. - Design and implement Data Ingestion from multiple sources to Azure Data Storage services. - Design data ingestion into data modelling services to create cross domain data models for end user consumption. - Design & Implement Azure data services and tools to ingest, egress, and transform data from multiple sources. - Design & deploy ETL, ELT jobs to curate, transform and aggregate data to create source models for end user analytics use cases. - Design and build the infrastructure required for optimal ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from a wide variety of data sources using Microsoft Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks. - Providing guidance on Python used for data science. - Architect solution for Azure compute services [Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake Store, Apache Spark, Synapse] to implement transformation logic and stage transformed data. - Working with multiple business stake holders to build and deploy the solution in cloud. - Facilitate architectural discussions with customers to understand business requirements and recommend appropriate cloud solution. - Responsible to provide technical oversight and direction to product development team. - Education: B.E. / B. Tech / MCA / MCS - A Minimum of a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related software engineering discipline, or equivalent. - Hands-on experience in designing and managing Cloud Ops, Data factory, SQL Queries, Data Lake, Data Bricks etc. - Strong ETL pipeline development experience with Azure Ecosystem like Azure Data Factory. Build simple to complex pipelines, activities, Datasets & data flows. - Working knowledge of Azure Event Hubs, Stream Data Ingestion, ETL & Data Streaming. - Experience in Administrating SQL database, Azure data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Data Bricks and Azure SQL Data warehouse. - Hands on experience in Python. - 4+ years of data engineering experience is a must, leveraging technologies such as Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Databricks, SQL DW. - Good understating of Cloud Platform as a service model (Preferably Azure) and implementation experience (ex: data management, data analytics etc.) EXPERIENCE 12 - 14 Years SKILLS Primary Skill: Data Architecture Sub Skill(s): Data Architecture Additional Skill(s): Node.js Microservices, BootStrap, Dell Boomi, IBM MQ Series, Kafka, MSMQ, ASP.NET SignalR, MVC, ZEnterprise114, Android, Groovy, User Interface Architecture, CSS, ETL, Azure Storage, Data Engineering, databricks, SQL, Azure Data Factory ABOUT THE COMPANY Infogain is a human-centered digital platform and software engineering company based out of Silicon Valley.
