**Role **:CNC / VMC Operator

**Responsibility**:
1. Reporting to Machine shop in-charge

2. By following the machine loading planning set the component and complete the required qty mentioned in the plan

3. Ensuring the quality of the part machined as per the required drg.

4. Co-ordinate with Quality control department for First Article Inspection, In-process inspection and ensure the Work instructions are followed.

5. Maintaining the accountability for the Tools / Raw material received from the stores for process at any point of time.

6. Ensuring the productivity, machine efficiency, Tools life as per the target fixed.

7. Proper storing the CNC programs, Setup details and tools details

8. Ensuring that the only program available in machine for the running Job only.

10. Recording the In-process inspection report

12. Making ready the tools / Raw material / Jigs&Fixture / Gauges / Instruments well before the component is coming to run.

13. Strictly following the Process sheet for processing.

14. Any deviation found in the process, keeping the NC part separate and inform the In-charge for disposal action and correct the next components and get approval from the QC for further running.

15. Write and maintain the log book for each machine.

16. Inform the in-charge and stores if any tools/Jigs&Fixtures/Gauges/instruments got broken or damaged.

17. Keep the machine clean and tidy.

18. Do the preventive maintenance as per the maintenance chart placed on the machine and record the same in the Sheet.

19. Keeping a separate record for Re-Work parts and their timing, cost etc.

20. Running the machines as per In Charge‘s work allotment.

21. Involving in house keeping and machine cleaning

22. Utilizing and handling the instruments and Tools as per Good Manufacturing practices implemented in the organization.

23. Loading and Unloading the goods

24. Following up the work instructions
