**Job Description**:
As a WBM Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and executing Windchill business model migrations, customizing workflows and data models, and ensuring smooth system upgrades and data consistency. You will play a critical role in supporting our Windchill migration projects, collaborating closely with stakeholders and technical teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- WBM Execution & Migration:

- Lead and execute WBM (Windchill Business Model) migrations, ensuring proper transfer of business processes, data models, and configurations from one system to another.
- Plan and execute data migration strategies, ensuring smooth transitions from legacy systems to Windchill PLM with no data loss and mínimal downtime.
- Work closely with business analysts, functional leads, and technical teams to ensure that business processes are effectively migrated and optimized within Windchill.
- Windchill Customization & Configuration:

- Customize Windchill PLM to meet client-specific requirements, including workflows, business rules, data models, and user interfaces.
- Leverage knowledge of Windchill Workflows, Windchill Data Model (WD), and custom business rules to ensure correct configurations in migrated systems.
- Data Migration & Integrity:

- Oversee the data migration process, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), ensuring all data is accurately migrated into Windchill.
- Resolve data integrity issues and ensure data consistency throughout the migration process.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure that the migrated data meets business requirements and is correctly reflected in the Windchill system.
- Functional Knowledge of Windchill:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure that the migration aligns with their requirements and that business processes are maintained during migration.
- Develop functional specifications for customizations, and ensure that system configurations support required business processes.
- Troubleshooting & Support:

- Diagnose and resolve any technical issues encountered during the migration process, including integration, data, or performance issues.
- Provide post-migration support, helping teams identify any gaps or issues that need resolution after the migration is complete.
- Collaboration & Documentation:

- Work closely with other technical and business teams to define migration timelines, resource allocations, and functional expectations.
- Create comprehensive migration documentation, including migration plans, data mappings, test cases, and post-migration reports.
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication throughout the migration project.
- Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:

- Recommend and implement best practices for Windchill migration processes, customizations, and business model execution.
- Continuously evaluate and improve migration strategies, tools, and techniques to ensure the most efficient and error-free migrations possible.

Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:

- Windchill Business Model (WBM): Solid understanding and experience with WBM execution in Windchill PLM.
- Windchill Customizations: Expertise in Windchill customizations (e.g., data models, workflows, business rules, user interfaces).
- Data Migration: Experience in performing data migration tasks (e.g., ETL processes, data mapping, data validation) for Windchill or other PLM systems.
- Windchill Data Model (WD): Strong knowledge of the Windchill data model (WD), including WTObject, WTPart, and WTDocument, and the ability to customize and migrate these elements.
- Integration Experience: Familiarity with Windchill integration tools and processes, including integrating with ERP, CRM, CAD, and other enterprise systems.
- SQL & Databases: Strong SQL skills and experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Windchill API Knowledge: Experience with Windchill APIs, Web Services, and RESTful APIs for handling custom integrations during the migration process.
