**Position**: History Teacher
**Location**: Sanjivani International School, Kharghar
**Department**: Middle and High School
**Reporting to**: Academic Coordinator / Principal

**Job Overview**:
We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable History Teacher to teach students in middle and high school grades. The teacher should be able to bring historical events to life, promote critical thinking, and connect the past to the present to enhance student understanding.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging History lessons as per the CBSE curriculum (or applicable board).
- Teach topics related to Indian and World History, Civics, and Political Science where applicable.
- Encourage inquiry-based learning and promote discussion and debate on historical events and perspectives.
- Design lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to evaluate student understanding.
- Integrate audio-visual aids, project work, and educational tools to make learning effective and interactive.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and board examinations (where applicable).
- Maintain classroom discipline and create an inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in school activities, events, meetings, and professional development workshops.
- Maintain student performance records and communicate with parents regarding academic progress.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in History or Social Science with B.Ed. (mandatory).
- Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in a recognized CBSE/ICSE/International school.
- Excellent command of English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage students and make History relevant and interesting.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classroom environments.

**Work Schedule**:
Full-time (As per school working hours)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
