Infection Control Nurse

Urgently required Infection Control Nurse for a reputed eye hospital in **Patiala**.

Qualification - GNM or B.Sc Nursing with relevant Certification or Trainings.

Shift - Day shift only.

Salary - Between 20,000-25000/-. Eye Hospital experience will be an added advantage.

Job Description - Infection Control Nurse will maintain best practices throughout the Organisation. This means keeping all employees up to date on proper sanitation practices, new findings that they should be aware of, and working with hospital administration to implement measures necessary to ensure patient and staff safety.

He/She will work directly with staff using harm reduction strategies by establishing rapport, assessing level of knowledge and understanding of potential harms associated with injection drug use, providing education, preventing risky injection practices, monitoring for signs of drug overdose or anaphylaxis.
