Economics Teacher

**Job Purpose**:
To deliver engaging and conceptually sound Economics instruction to senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII) as per CBSE curriculum, foster critical thinking and analysis skills, and prepare students for board examinations and competitive readiness.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Economics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, unit plans, and academic calendar schedules with a focus on microeconomics, macroeconomics, Indian economic development, and statistics.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies, including case studies, real-world data analysis, and current economic events.
- Design and administer tests, quizzes, projects, and assignments to evaluate student understanding.
- Prepare students thoroughly for CBSE board examinations through revision sessions and practice papers.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ academic performance and provide regular feedback.
- Support students participating in Olympiads, inter-school competitions, or other academic forums.
- Offer academic counselling and remedial support when required.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in staff meetings, departmental reviews, and school events.
- Maintain documentation for lesson planning, student portfolios, and board-related data.
- Contribute to school events, assemblies, exhibitions, and extracurricular activities as needed.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: Master’s degree in Economics (mandatory), B.Ed. from a recognized university.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2-5 years of experience teaching senior secondary level Economics in a CBSE-affiliated school.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
