**Job Description -** **Quality Inspector**
- **Department**_: Quality Assurance
- **Role**:_ Quality Inspector
- **Function**:_Material Handling Systems

**Job Purpose-**

To ensure all materials, equipment, and assemblies conform to approved Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), checklists, and industry standards, by conducting inspections at vendor sites, warehouses, and internal facilities, and documenting outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review QAPs and inspection checklists, highlighting deviations or ambiguities.
- Conduct internal inspections at vendor locations as per Purchase Team requests.
- Conduct external inspections at warehouses as per Project Team requests.
- Prepare and circulate Internal Inspection Reports (IIR) and External Inspection Reports (EIR).
- Communicate compliance, rectification, or rejection findings to stakeholders.
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) or Quality Tickets for escalation.
- Follow up and re-inspect until compliance is achieved.

Interfaces

Internal: Project, Purchase, Warehouse Teams

External: Vendors, Customers, Third-Party Inspectors (if applicable)

Authority
- Approve/reject materials based on inspection results.
- Raise Quality Tickets for non-compliance.
- Recommend corrective/preventive actions.

Deliverables
- Standardized Inspection Report formats (IIR & EIR)
- QAP analysis reports
- NCRs and Quality Tickets
- Inspection Reports with compliance status

**Skills & Competencies**
- Knowledge of QAPs, inspection processes & material handling systems
- Proficiency with inspection tools & checklists
- Strong reporting & documentation ability
- Communication skills for vendor & team interactions
- Analytical and problem-solving orientation

- % of inspections completed on time
- % of materials accepted/rejected
- Turnaround time for NCR/Quality Ticket closures
- Reduction in repeated vendor non-compliance
- Audit compliance score

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
