**About this Role**:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to ensure the performance, security, availability, and reliability of Oracle databases across business-critical environments. This role demands a blend of deep technical expertise and operational efficiency, with exposure to Exadata, Oracle RAC, Cloud platforms, and automation tools.

**What you’ll do**:

- Manage and optimise Oracle Database Architecture for high-performance environments.
- Perform advanced SQL tuning, indexing, partitioning, and query optimisation.
- Troubleshoot performance issues using AWR, ASH, SQL Profiles, and SQL Baselines.
- Configure and optimise memory, CPU, and storage for Exadata, Oracle RAC, and Cloud deployments.
- Implement basic OS (Linux RedHat/Oracle), storage, and networking concepts.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Ansible, and Python.
- Monitor databases using OEM Cloud Control and third-party tools like Datadog and Grafana.
- Leverage AWS RDS and Terraform for cloud database management.

- A technically proficient individual with advanced knowledge of Oracle database systems.
- Skilled in performance tuning and troubleshooting complex database environments.
- Familiar with cloud platforms and automation tools.
- Able to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to evolving technologies.
- Experienced in scripting and monitoring tools to drive operational efficiency.
