**Job overview**:
This role involves creating innovative fabric patterns and têxtiles that align with current fashion trends and brand aesthetics, understanding market trends, and translating creative concepts into têxtile designs that enhance clothing collections.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Textile Design Creation**:

- Develop unique têxtile patterns, prints, and textures that meet fashion design requirements.
- Utilize various techniques such as digital printing, weaving, and dyeing to create fabric samples.
- **Trend Analysis and Research**:

- Conduct research on current fashion trends, emerging têxtile technologies, and competitor designs.
- Analyze consumer preferences and incorporate findings into têxtile designs.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with fashion designers to understand design needs and preferences.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and oversee the production of têxtile samples.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Utilize design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD) to create and modify têxtile designs.
- Develop technical specifications and documentation for têxtile production.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure that têxtile designs meet quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct tests on fabric durability, colorfastness, and other relevant attributes.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, etc.).
- Strong creative and artistic abilities with a keen eye for color, texture, and detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects effectively.
