**Your Role and Beyond**:
Your role is to plan, create and code web pages, using both technical and non-technical skills to produce websites and designs.

**What you will do**:

- Gather and evaluate user requirements.
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
- Develop mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables).
- work with other web specialists, including web developers and graphic designers to produce the final output
- work with different content management systems like - WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Ektron, Zope.
- Optimising sites for maximum speed and scalability
- Designing engaging and responsive landing pages
- Ensuring website function and stability across devices i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet

**The skills you need to bring along-**:

- Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
- Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
- Good collaboration and communication skills.
- Familiarity with responsive design frameworks like
- Bootstrap, Gumby, Foundation, Montage etc.
