**Job Summary**:
The Communication Trainer will be responsible for enhancing the communication and interpersonal skills of students to prepare them for placement opportunities. This role involves designing and delivering comprehensive training programs, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with the Placement & Training Cell to ensure students are industry-ready.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Training Delivery**:
- Conduct communication skills training sessions, including verbal and non-verbal communication, presentation skills, group discussions, and personal interviews.
- Develop customized training modules based on student needs and placement requirements.
- **Curriculum Development**:
- Design and update training content to align with industry standards and employer expectations.
- Incorporate innovative training methodologies such as role-plays, case studies, and real-life simulations.
- **Assessment and Feedback**:
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, mock interviews, and group activities.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and recommend improvement strategies.
- **Collaboration**:
- Work closely with the Placement & Training Cell to understand placement trends and skill gaps.
- Coordinate with faculty and industry experts to organize guest lectures and workshops.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain detailed records of training sessions, attendance, and student progress.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to track training effectiveness.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Educational Background**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Communications, or a related field.
- Certifications in soft skills training or business communication are preferred.
- **Experience**:
- **Minimum 2-3 years**of experience as a communication or soft skills trainer, preferably in an educational or corporate setting.
- **Technical Skills**:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual training platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
- **Soft Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and motivational skills.
- Ability to manage diverse groups and foster an engaging learning environment.
**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:
- Improvement in students' communication assessment scores.
- Placement success rates in communication-centric roles.
- Student feedback and satisfaction with training programs.
- Timely completion and updating of training modules.
