Itc Technician

**Position - ITC Technician**

Exp - **4-5 years of experience in Analytical /Electrochemical technology**

Notice period - within **30 days** or less

Education - **B.E / Masters in Chemistry**

Professional Experience **-** Preferably in Chemical / Petrochemical / Polymer / Engineering Industries.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Perform analytical and electrochemical testing of separators and characterization of technological

challenges concerning lead acid batteries relevant to separators.
- Compile test results and build a knowledge base to be used by the whole organization.
- Build and maintain a high-class ITC centre for separator characterization, enhancement, and new

product development through procuring the right equipment sets, operating and maintaining them, and

hiring talented workforce.
- Design and create experimental procedures, test vehicles and methodologies.
- Build the needed test rigs and ensure proper functioning of set ups and lab capabilities.
- Operation and maintenance of different separator characterization tools, analyse results, report out to

product and technology teams globally.
- Solve issues through new separator materials, designs, processes etc., by working with product

specialists.
- Conduct failure analysis and analyse device failure data to determine root causes of issues and

develop and implement solutions.
- Purchase new equipment, peripherals, cells, etc., as needed and commission and maintain the facility

in order.
- Work in association with engineers and technicians to process raw materials, fabricate final

components, and develop and test novel materials and chemistries for separators.
- Must be able to identify equipment needed for testing and design / repair test fixtures as required.
- Report project progress on a monthly basis and generate reports
