**Job Title: Car Technician**

**Location**: Injambakkam,ECR Chennai
**Department**: Service/Repair & Maintenance
**Reports To**: GM

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Vehicle Diagnosis**:

- Inspect and diagnose vehicle problems using diagnostic tools, equipment, and software.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- **Maintenance & Repairs**:

- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake servicing, and fluid checks.
- Repair or replace parts such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering components.
- **Quality Control**:

- Conduct thorough post-repair testing to ensure all issues are resolved.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
- **Customer Interaction**:

- Explain technical issues and repairs to customers in a clear, non-technical manner (if required).
- Provide accurate cost and time estimates for repairs and maintenance.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and parts used.
- Update work orders and job cards promptly.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work with team members to troubleshoot complex problems.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with other technicians.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or certification in Automotive Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic (freshers or experienced).
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment and software.
- Valid driver’s license.(Not Mandatory)
