The **Transport Incharge** in a school plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of students

- Plan and schedule school bus routes to optimize time and fuel.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of students.
- Allocate vehicles to routes based on student strength and area.
- Ensure all vehicles comply with government safety regulations.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Maintain updated documents: insurance, permits, driver's licenses, fitness certificates.
- Recruit, train, and monitor drivers and bus attendants.
- Conduct regular safety and behavior training.
- Handle duty rosters, leaves, and replacements of staff.
- Ensure safe boarding and disembarking of students.
- Maintain discipline and safety inside the bus.
- Keep track of student attendance in buses.
- Handle breakdowns, accidents, or other transport-related emergencies.
- Maintain contact with drivers during routes.
- Inform parents and school authorities promptly in case of delays/incidents.
- Serve as a point of contact between the school, drivers, parents, and authorities.
- Address transport-related complaints or concerns.
- Send timely notifications to parents in case of delays or changes in routes.
- Maintain records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, maintenance logs, etc.
- Prepare periodic reports on transport operations.
- Monitor expenses and ensure budget compliance.
- Use GPS tracking systems to monitor buses in real time.
- Ensure RFID, CCTV, or other tech (if available) is functional and maintained.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies and communicate clearly.
- Knowledge of local transport laws and safety guidelines.
- Basic technical knowledge of vehicles.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
