Spa Therapist

To go through intensive spa training on massages, facials, and body treatments based on the standard and quality of the Resort.
- Inspects treatment room at the start of the shift to ensure that the set-up of treatment rooms is in accordance with established standards.
- Re-checks room prior to any treatment to ensure that there is adequate supply of guest amenities, towels, bathrobe and other supplies.
- Diagnose customer skin type for facials and recommends body treatment based on guest preference.
- Explains to the guest the benefit and procedures of the treatments. Gives product knowledge of its active ingredients.
- Applies treatment procedures/products in accordance with established measurements and timeframe.
- During treatment, sees to it that all necessary details are given sufficient attention, to ensure a comforting and relaxing session for the guest.
- After each treatment, collects used towels, cleans up the treatment rooms, and ensure complete set-up ready for the next appointment/session.
- For room service appointment, ensures all materials and supplies are prepared for treatment.
- Prepares all necessary preparations for spa service.
- At the close of operating hours, does inspection to ensure that spa treatment rooms are locked up.
- Ensures the closure of all Spa equipments and coordinates with Security for inspection of checklist.
- Sells cosmetic retail products properly explaining what the product is for, what benefits to the clients.
- Prepares monthly report as input to the managers report on business volume and performance.
- Up sells spa treatments.
- Answers all guest inquiries (personal or through telephone), making sure that information given is complete, accurate and timely.
- Booking appointments, ensuring all needed information is recorded.
- Keeps track of all information and updates on guest reports
- Maintains the cleanliness of the Reception Area.
- Inventory of spa supply items every month.
- Submits report to Spa Manager.
- Replenishes supplies in accordance with establishment procedures. Prepares appropriate documents to implement requisition and/or purchase of new or additional supplies.
- Monitors fast-moving items to establish regular list of merchandise to be purchased.
- Makes report of damaged goods in accordance with set procedures to ensure current supplies are of good quality.
- Operates the POS (point-of-sale) System in accordance to the establishments’ procedure.
- Ensures all transactions are correspondingly posted in the Fidelio system for inclusion in the guest folio.
- Processes Credit Card transactions in strict adherence to established procedures and standards.
- At the end of each shift, generated needed sales reports as per audit/accounting requirements. Remits/deposits all revenue/cash sales together with sales report.
- Proper turnover of sales report to the next shift of receptionist.
- Immediately reports and turns over lost and found articles to Housekeeping office, following required procedures at all times.
- Informs the Service Manager-FO (Duty Manager) and/or Security Department if valuables are left in the open. Follows standard procedures in handling this and similar situations at all times.
- Possesses full knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Attends scheduled employee training and periodic reviews on departmental responsibilities in case of emergencies.
- Responds to Emergency Calls, as may be required.
- Attends to all guest complaints immediately and initiates/coordinates immediate resolution.
- Performs other duties as may be required by management from time to time.
- Ensures proper maintenance of all equipment at the Health Club and Salon.
- Ensures timely reporting of malfunction or maintenance deficiencies to appropriate area.
- Attends scheduled training courses.
- Participates actively in company-initiated employee activities.
- Attends briefings, as required.
- Maintains good relationships with colleagues and contributes to team spirit.
- Cooperates and coordinates with colleagues whenever necessary.
- Interacts with other departments to provide additional or specialized guest services.
- Adheres to specified hygiene and personal appearance standards of the Resort.
- Adheres to set procedures for attendance and timekeeping.
- Adheres to the provisions outlined in the Employee Handbook, Disciplinary Code and Rules & Regulations.

- cycling.
- Maintains clean and orderly work surroundings.
- Conserves water & energy by adhering to the environmental / energy conservation checklist for area.
- Participates in activities concerning the protection of the environment.

- Practices the guiding principles in day to day interaction.
- Maintains the highest standard of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards clients and colleagues.
