A quantity surveyor (QS) manages costs for construction projects. They work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities
- **Cost estimation**: Estimate costs for materials, labor, and equipment
- **Project planning**: Create project timelines and budgets
- **Contract management**: Prepare contracts and negotiate with suppliers and contractors
- **Quality assurance**: Ensure projects meet quality standards and regulations
- **Risk management**: Identify and mitigate potential risks
- **Budget reporting**: Provide reports on project costs and progress
- **Subcontractor management**: Oversee and value work done by subcontractors
- **Site visits**: Visit construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications
- **Dispute resolution**: Assist in resolving disputes between parties involved in the project

Other duties Consult with clients to understand their needs, Conduct feasibility studies, Analyze repair and maintenance costs, Track changes to designs and adjust budgets, and Manage payments and invoices. Career pathYou can become a chartered surveyor by completing a diploma or degree and becoming a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
