We have Opening for Safety Officer for Nagothane Location for Manufacturing Company

Min 2yrs experience in Safety/Facility

We are looking for long time commitment person at least 2yrs

Location - Nagothane

1) To ensure that all required safety & fire fighting gadgets are available in the store to conduct thorough inspection of it before mobilization to offshore. 2) To educate all new employees about various hazards & emergency procedures. 3) In case of any unsafe condition / act, highlight to Workshop Engineer / Sr. Manager - Workshop to take corrective actions as & when the need arises. 4) Inform above observations or incidents to the Manager/Director. 5) To monitor strict compliance of various safety norms as per the policy at workshops. 6) To administer elementary first aid, as & when required & keep records of each case. 7) To maintain the fire fighting system / extinguishers at various workshops. 8) To arrange a safety meeting & keep the records as per the approved format. Follow up for compliance of the points raised with Workshop Managers. 9) Carry out periodical safety inspections of Workshops & maintain records as per the approved format 10) Conduct Housekeeping inspection of various sites. Suggest various measures for good housekeeping practices. 11) Conduct daily safety toolbox meetings in the workshop 12) Maintain monthly accident / incident / near miss / statistics records forwarded by Active sites & Permanent W/s to the base HSE department. 13) To prepare a monthly HSE Statistics report. 14) To maintain the following records, this should be valid for the entire project duration. 15) Medical status of all project related persons. 16) To ensure minimum inventory of Safety Items / equipments as per approved list in stores. 17) To visit ongoing onshore sites for proper implementation of safety procedures. 18) To investigate any incidence / accident of onshore and offshore. 19) To keep record of first aid medicines available shop floor. 20) To review the first aid register maintained at ongoing onshore and offshore sites. 21) To conduct safety audit with project in charge / engineers / supervisors for compliance of Safety. 22) To fulfill the requirements of safety related items in custody of HSE department. 23) Co-ordination of PPE‘s requirement from ongoing onshore & Offshore sites.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
