Manga Comic Creator

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

We seek to **commission original, annotated** **comics**andassociated **supporting assets**. The core requirement is the tight coupling of visual stories with detailed, structured metadata.
- **Comics**: Finished sequential visual narratives designed for direct reading, where artwork and narrative text (dialogue, captions, SFX) are fully integrated within the panels.
- **Supporting assets**: Individual, non-sequential reference images for characters, objects, backgrounds and styles used in the stories, where available / applicable.

**Stories**

We aim for a minimum of **50** stories in total. A story should have about **1-2 pages**to start, and could be as short as a single strip (**a few panels in 1 page**).

We aim for this breakdown for stories:

- **50%** of stories should be actual comics (with text in images)
- The breakdown for this is:

- **80%** Manga styles
- **10%** Western Comic styles
- **10%** other diverse/global styles.**The other 50%**

of stories should be visual storyboards (no in-image dialog or narration)

The breakdown for this is:

- **75%** are single page strips (1 page x 7 panels)
- **25%** are weekly chapter-sized (15-20 pages x 7 panels per page)

1. **Original Content Only**:All comics must be original creations. This includes characters, storyline, artwork, and all associated assets.
2. **Format**:Comics can be either text-based or non-text-based.
3. **Illustration Quality**:

- Character expressions should be crystal clear.
- A wide range of facial expressions must be depicted.
- While the story should be unique and engaging, illustration quality takes precedence over narrative depth.

**4. Intellectual Property**:

- All rights to the submitted content will be exclusively owned by Uber.
- The creators must not reuse, distribute, or publish any part of the work elsewhere.
- Submitted work must not infringe on any existing copyright, trademark, or intellectual property.

**5. Quality Assurance**:Submissions that fail to meet our quality standards or are found to be plagiarized will be **disqualified** and not eligible for payment.
