Sub Contract Trainee

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sub Contract Trainee to join our team. As a Sub Contract Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of our vendor relationships, ensuring the highest level of product quality and customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the identification and onboarding of potential vendors, including conducting research and evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring effective communication and timely delivery of products.
- Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular audits to assess compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Assist in resolving any vendor-related issues or disputes in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to identify potential new vendors or opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of vendor development strategies to enhance the company's supply chain effectiveness.
- Assist in the development of vendor performance metrics and reporting systems to track and evaluate vendor performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient execution of vendor management processes.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Mechanical, B Sc Physics, B Sc Maths or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in vendor management, vendor development, or supply chain management (or a relevant internship experience).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and address vendor-related issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of vendor management software is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving industry trends and best practices.
