Job Title: QC In-charge (Screen Printing)

Company: Grafica Decals Pvt Ltd

Department: Production

Salary : 20,000 to 30,000 Rs per month

Experience : Minimum 2 Years in relevant field

**Responsibilities**:
Pre-press:
1. Review customer artwork and specifications for potential quality issues.

2. Analyse and verify prepress files for accuracy and colour fidelity.

3. Work with prepress department to ensure proper platemaking and image processing.

Press Operations:
1. Perform initial press setup and verify print registration, ink density, and colour accuracy.

2. Regularly monitor printing quality throughout the production run, identifying and documenting defects such as dot gain, registration errors, ink smudging, or colour inconsistencies.

3. Conduct random sampling and quality checks based on established protocols.

4. Utilise inspection equipment like densitometers, spectrophotometers, and microscopes to analyse print quality metrics.

Quality Control Management:
1. Maintain and update quality control documentation and records.

2. Analyse trends in defect occurrence and recommend corrective actions to improve print quality.

3. Liaise with production teams to resolve printing issues and implement process improvements.

4. Conduct internal audits and report on non-compliance with quality standards.

5. Stay updated on latest trends and advancements in flexographic printing and quality control technologies.

Qualifications:

- Minimum Diploma in Printing Technology or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality control for screen printing.
- Strong understanding of screen printing principles, processes, and materials.
- Proficient in quality control tools and equipment, including densitometers, spectrophotometers, and microscopes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies and procedures.
