**Job Purpose**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Food Preparation**:
- Prepare ingredients following standardized recipes and portion sizes.
- Ensure timely preparation to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
**Cooking**:
- Cook various dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, maintaining high standards of quality.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
- Utilize various cooking methods, such as grilling, frying, steaming, and baking.
**Kitchen Maintenance**:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients to prevent wastage.
- Clean and sanitize all equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
**Team Collaboration**:
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Take direction from the Kitchen Manager/Owner and assist in executing daily tasks.
- Mentor and guide kitchen staff as needed, fostering a positive team environment.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Proven experience as a Chef/Cook, ideally in a commercial kitchen setting.
- Expertise in North Indian and Chinese cuisines.
- Strong culinary skills, including precision knife work and advanced cooking techniques.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Food safety and hygiene certification (preferred).
